How to read a [04]
One brand. Four lines. Every piece carries the same mark, a name, and a short line that tells you what it is. This note explains how to read it.

Pieces with a place or a process. Each one is tied to a real location, with its coordinates, or made by hand in our studio in Trieste. Limited runs.
Inside ART: A*G* Altered Garments, reworked by hand in our studio. Altered Forms, objects and furniture. [04] OS, our olfactory studies.
YES · Your Everyday Skin

What you wear every day. Tees, sweatshirts, knitwear, base layers, socks. Fit, fabric, durability.
It starts from ERRDAY: the base pieces, with only a small [04]. Everything else in YES is built on them. Stamina is the part of YES made for movement.
SBN · Surrounded by Nature

What you take outside. Outerwear and gear for wind, rain and cold. Our reference is the Bora, the wind of Trieste. Fishing lives here too.

What we make with others. Collaborations, when they are real.
PERMANENT AND SEASONAL
A line tells you what a piece is for. A collection tells you when it exists.
Permanent collections are always there and come back when they sell out. ERRDAY and Stamina in YES. A*G* and [04] OS in ART.
Seasonal collections come out once, with their season: MISURINA · FW21, SHINRIN YOKU · SS23, CORTEX · FW25. If an idea returns, it keeps its name and adds a small v2.
THE SIGNATURE
Every piece reads the same way, top to bottom.

The name of the piece.
What it is, and who made it.
The line, the product code, the season.
Where it comes from, when it matters.
The same design can exist as a tee and a hoodie. The name stays. Only the object changes.
We sign everything this way, not only clothes: a Film By, a Sound Design By, an Experience By [04]-STUDIOS™. When we make something with people, it reads With [04]-STUDIOS™.

× means with a partner: [04]-STUDIOS™ × partner.
+ means two of our lines together: [04] / SBN + YES.
− means something was taken away. ERRDAY − SLEEVES is an Errday piece we reworked in the studio.
THE LAYER SYSTEM
YES and SBN are made to be worn together.
1 · Base layer, on the skin: ERRDAY, [04] / YES.
2 · Mid layer, to stay warm and move: Stamina, [04] / YES.
3 · Shell, against wind and rain: [04] / SBN.
Each piece is sold on its own. Together they take you from the city to the Carso.
THE CODE
Codes count up inside each line and are never reused. ART-001 is the Misurina Sweater, the piece [04] started from.
THE DOTS AND DASHES
Each line has its own Morse sign. ----- ....- reads 04.
Say [04] in your own language: zero quattro, zero four, cero cuatro. It is always written [04], with a zero.
VRT
VRT marks our patterns. Each pattern carries the coordinates of the place where its photo was taken.
A*G*
A*G* means the piece was made or reworked by hand in our studio. You will find it on a small label inside.
ORIGIN
The label inside tells you where the piece was sewn. Its colour tells you at a glance.
Moss green · Made in Portugal
Purple · Made in Italy
Black · Made in China
We write the real country, batch by batch. If a piece moves to another workshop, the label changes with it. We do not hide where things are made. The Price Breakdown shows what a piece costs to make.
HOW A DROP WORKS
Most new pieces are made close to real demand. You reserve with a deposit. We produce. You pay the balance before shipping. Members of [04] Hidden Garden get access first. What is left may be released later.
Every drop opens on Instagram with a row of three signed posts.
WHEN THINGS COME OUT
ART every 17 November, the anniversary of our first drop in 2021. SBN in spring. YES in summer. Permanent pieces are restocked during the year. We announce exact dates only when they are certain.
QUESTIONS WE GET
Why is my label purple?
Your piece was sewn in Italy.
Why does it say Made in China?
Because it was. We write the real country.
Is YES cheaper than ART?
Usually. ART pieces are limited and tied to a place. YES is made to be worn every day.
Will a sold out piece come back?
Permanent pieces, like ERRDAY, come back. Seasonal pieces do not, unless the idea returns as a v2.
How do I say [04]?
In your own language. Zero quattro, zero four, cero cuatro. It is always written [04].
